Utah Trip

My new dream car

Possible place of residence

Obviously Scott was the only one happy about taking this pict...

Sunrise from the 10th floor of the hotel

Kyle Curd, one of Scott's mission friends came out to visit last week. Sooooo we all took a road trip to Utah. Did I mention Scott and I might be moving to Provo? Yeah, it's true. We looked at some apts while we were there... found one we might live in. But Provo is the last resort. Scott might have upcoming job opportunities in two places: 1) In Georgia making a Gone with the Wind documentary that would be put on the newly revamped DVD with the movie and 2) In Washington DC making a documentary for the US senate or something like that. Sweeeeeet! ANYWAY, when the trip came to a close, I drove us all home from Utah in Kyle's rental car, a 2008 Ford Escape. It was way nice... until I got a speeding ticket just 15 minutes outside of Rexburg. Whoops.

Guitars Unplugged

Last night we found out Scott made it into Guitars Unplugged! Did you know that over 100 people try out and only 28 make it?! They have two shows, one Thursday and one Friday and then the best from those shows play in the big show on Saturday. Yikes! Scott and Ben are scheduled to play Friday but we were going to be in Utah that day so they are trying to switch it... we shall find out. The boys will be playing a song they wrote called "Laundry Day." Any yes, they did write it in the laundry room.

Family Pictures

About a month ago Scott and I went to the gardens to take some family pictures. We probably looked just a tiny bit silly because Scott would set the camera on a timer and then run to be in the picture. You can imagine getting the right framing was just a little difficult as well. But regardless, the pictures turn out AWESOME. Magic of Photoshop, of course. Speaking of, I'm learning Photoshop too! It's kind of addicting in a weird way to transform a mediocre photo into a suburb work of art...
